This weekend communities across the Country will pause to pay their respects to those who have served and sacrificed.
In Fleetwood, there are two events to mark this poignant time of year.
Tomorrow, Friday 11th November, a Remembrance Day Service will be held at Marine Hall from 10.40am leading up to a two-minute silence at 11.00am, after which, refreshments will be served. Our best wishes to everyone attending these and all the Remembrance events.

And finally, we return to The Mount and welcome the newly appointed creatives who will deliver a new program of Art & Science activity from the venue.
Lisa Wigham & Tina Dempsey have been commissioned by Wyre Council to animate the iconic and much-loved Mount Pavilion in a twelve-month residency. During the next year, they will be bringing events, workshops and talks that explore the past, present and future of Fleetwood's Mount Pavilion and also the surrounding coast and local residents will be invited to play an active role! We look forward to hearing more and working with Lisa and Tina in the future, connecting residents with the exciting opportunities to come.
Until the next time, take care.
