Fleetwood Market - The Seaside Shopping Experience is one of those venues that both attracts visitors from far afield and is also a much-loved focal point for the community.

With its mix of indoor and outdoor stalls selling a huge range of goods there's always a warm, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of friendly banter from the traders and many local residents enjoy meeting for a brew and a chat in the cafes.

The opening of the Market House Studios has also added creative energy from the talented artists and who have taken space there - a special exhibition of their work opens later this week and again in the New Year.

And it's also fingers crossed as Fleetwood waits to see if it's been successful in Britain's Favourite Market poll ... it certainly has our vote!
