ADVENT CALENDAR: Day 13

Are you getting excited for the final of this year's Strictly Come Dancing? It's now very much part of the run-up to Christmas and maybe it's inspiring you to take to the dancefloor ... so today on our Community Advent Calendar it's about your chance to dance in and around Fleetwood.

Tia's Crown is a charity promoting the wellbeing benefits of dancing through workshops and events, usually at their base in the The Crown Ballroom at Farmer Parrs Animal World, Rossall Lane.

Tomorrow evening they are hosting a FREE Festive Dance Session from 5.45pm - please note this event is at The Monarchy Studio, Thornton-Cleveleys FY5 5HH. Reservation is recommended, please message the group through their Facebook page or email admin@tiascrown.co.uk and check out all their upcoming events.

In the New Year, there's a new Line Dancing for Beginners group starting with The Crown Ballroom. It's the perfect class for all ages with easy-to-follow steps & fantastic music!

The North Euston Hotel Tea Dance is every Monday and Thursday from 2pm at Fleetwood's famous hotel. A lovely social dance to keyboard music with tea and biscuits included in the ticket price. There's no need to pre-book, joining the Facebook group will keep you up to date on all the news.

And Marine Hall hosts their Festive Afternoon Dance on Tuesday 19th December from 2pm to 4pm with Mark Speight, one of the finest jazz pianists in North West England. Again you can usually purchase your tickets on the day or book online at https://uk.patronbase.com/.../Productions/AFTD/Performances
