ADVENT CALENDAR: Day 10

On a grey and wet day like today (Day 10 of our Community Advent Calendar) we all need something to lift the spirits and one local resident has made it her mission to bring some happiness to the Town.

Karen Thomas and has been making charming crotcheted and knitted figures for some time, displaying them on letter boxes and benches to mark special occasions and events.

Whether it's the Jubilee, Remembrance Day, Christmas, New Year or just a charming seaside theme, her wonderful work brightens up the streets and makes you smile.
