Advent Calendar Day 1

Our 2022 Advent Calendar celebrates some of the amazing individuals and groups making a difference in the Fleetwood community and we start with an idea that sums it up perfectly.

The Christmas Day Dinner 2022 is the wonderful idea from kind-hearted Fleetwood family Heather, Christine, Gill, and their friends. It's about giving people who would be alone at Christmas some good company, a hot meal and some warm memories.

The initial fundraising target has been reached but there's still a lot to do - offers of support are greatly appreciated and also volunteers to help on the day.

Heather says, "Thank you so much for all the generous donations, we are absolutely blown away by the support we are getting! We are now looking for volunteer drivers on the day to pick up and drop of some of our guests who will struggle to get to us. If you are interested in helping out give me a call or send me a text on 07958 558135."

Christmas should be a time for sharing and this group will be helping many others in the community share some great times this year.
